Reporting Illegal Content

CARMIM provides its employees, associates, partners and other interested parties with the possibility of reporting, in a secure and confidential manner, illicit or irregular practices that occur within the organization.

Types of Reports Accepted:

CARMIM accepts reports of any practice or behavior that violates the Cooperative's internal rules, current legislation or ethical principles.

Situations that can be reported include, but are not limited to:

Corruption and bribery: Any act of corruption, illicit payment, favoritism or acceptance of bribes.
Financial fraud: Any fraudulent behavior involving the diversion of funds or manipulation of financial information.
Harassment and discrimination: Abusive or discriminatory behavior, such as sexual harassment, moral harassment, or discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, among others.
Violation of workers' rights: Disrespect for employees' rights, including working conditions, occupational health and safety.
Violation of internal rules and policies: Any violation of the Code of Conduct, Internal Regulations, or other internal rules established by the Cooperative.
Abuse of power or conflict of interest: Misuse of positions or functions to obtain personal advantages or harm the organization.


Guarantee of Confidentiality and Anonymity:

CARMIM ensures that all reports will be treated with the utmost confidentiality, guaranteeing the anonymity of the complainant, except in cases where required by judicial authority or other legal obligation.

Information about the complaint will be shared exclusively with the parties responsible for the investigation, as described in this regulation.

Confidentiality of Information: All information provided in the report will be kept confidential unless the complainant authorizes disclosure or is legally required to do so.
Whistleblower Protection: CARMIM guarantees that no whistleblower will suffer retaliation or discrimination as a result of their report. Any acts of retaliation will be treated seriously and may result in disciplinary action against those responsible.
Anonymous reporting: The reporting party has the option to remain anonymous. However, a lack of detailed information can hinder the investigation of the incident. CARMIM will do its best to investigate anonymous reports, but the effectiveness of the investigation will depend on the quantity and quality of the information provided.
