It goes well with game, red meat and matured or medium-matured cheese.
Maceration is completed after 20 days. The wine ages in French and American oak barrels for 9 months.
The wine is deep garnet in colour, with an aroma of blackberry and well-matured raspberry, intermingled with hints of spices. The taste is rich and deep, with a certain minerality and great complexity.
It is ready for drinking now, or it can be kept for 5 to 8 years in the bottle, if stored in the right conditions. Recommended tasting temperature: 16º - 18ºC (60.8º - 64.4ºF).
