CARMIM

The general conditions submitted herein are applicable to web site users and visitors. The services provided by the Carmim portal are offered to its users subject to their acceptance of the conditions contained in this agreement (general conditions).

By using this website their acceptance of all the terms and conditions described herein is implicitly accepted, with its users, service providers and visitors being obliged to full compliance therewith.

1. The Carmim portal is owned by CARMIM – Cooperativa Agrícola de Reguengos de Monsaraz C.R.L., corporate body no. 500912629 registered with the Registrar of Companies of Reguengos de Monsaraz under registration no. 500912629, holding share capital of 3,174,150 euros and is thus the holder of all the intellectual and industrial property rights as well as being responsible for the maintenance and management of the contents of the Carmim portal.
2. The Carmim portal shall only publish information whose content is suitable for the objectives of the site. Furthermore, the Carmim portal reserves the right to prevent, temporarily withdraw or eliminate from its files any information supplied which is morally offensive, contrary to the law or ethical principles or which in any way may be harmful to the interests of its users.
3. The users and service providers recognise that the use of the Carmim portal is merely for personal use, excluding any other they may lend to it. The users and providers also accept that all the comments and classifications published at the site, even when related solely to them, are the property of Carmim and may not be used outside the scope of use of the portal.
4. Users and service providers have the duty not to send and disclose via the site to the market any information which is erroneous and contrary to Portuguese law. The dissemination of false information, to wit name, phone contacts and e-mail constitute a breach of Portuguese law and may result in losses for Carmim as well as for third parties. Carmim shall hold legally responsible anyone who intentionally or fraudulently harms the users of this website.
5. The users and providers undertake not to install programmes or any computer technology so as to access encrypted and secret passwords or usernames. They also undertake to not to install bugs, virus or unauthorised advertising.
6. As a way of protecting our users and ensuring that all the companies providing services compete with each other subject to strict compliance with Portuguese law, the administration of Carmim portal reserves the right to require from the companies providing services authenticated copies of the permits, licenses, insurance, criminal records and other legal documents whenever it deems them necessary. Failure to display the documents requested by the provider or their non-compliance with Portuguese law may imply the suspension of use of the portal services or even their elimination without any entitlement to compensation for any payment already made.
7. The administration of Carmim portal undertakes, in accordance with Portuguese law, to keep confidential all the personal data and documentation which may be granted by the companies. This data shall only be used in accordance with the operating needs of the site and they may not be disclosed or granted to third parties (Please consult the privacy policy).
8. The Carmim portal shall contain various links to other sites of other companies and shall allow users to leave the Carmim portal. The linked sites are not managed or controlled by the Carmim portal and for this reason the latter shall not be held responsible for any content or functionality of said sites.
9. The Carmim portal may have to make alterations to its contents and hence faults or technical problems may occasionally occur. Users as well as service providers accept the immutability of these situations and forego any right to compensation for said events.
10. To settle any litigation involving the Carmim portal, the competent venue shall be that of the district of Reguengos de Monsaraz excluding any other.
