Climate: Mediterranean climate with very hot, dry summers and cool winters with concentrated periods of rain (600mm/year). In the summer season there are great thermal amplitudes, with sunshine of over 3000 hours per year.
Palate: dark garnet coloured wine, aroma of black fruits with notes deriving from its aging in wood. In the mouth it is full-bodied, smooth and balanced with an aftertaste where notes of coffee and chocolate predominate.
Aging and Consumption: The bottles shall be laid down with the wine in contact with the cork in a cool place (around 12ºC) with some humidity (75% of relative humidity). These conditions shall be kept constant throughout the year. This wine can be drunk immediately or, if you prefer, you can let it age for 4 to 6 years.
Good accompaniment to grilled or roasted meats and cured or semi-cured cheeses. It should be drunk at a temperature of 16-18ºC.
